Dyson Ball DC24 Animal Upright Vacuum

I live in a basement studio with two dogs and a muddy yard, and this is the perfect vacuum cleaner for me. How many times has this story really needed a quick vacuuming, but I did not want to drag my giant machine and then manhandling it around the narrow room? Then spend half an hour wind it every time it picked up a stray cable yarn from the carpet? Now I find myself pulling Dyson just to get dust bunnies or mud cake from a corner!

It weighs about nine pounds, it fits in my cramped room without moving furniture, the ball turns on a dime and it can suck the rust from an abandoned Studebaker. The attachments click simple and secure. The reel has a sensor that prevents it from turning the moment it detects the slower because something is caught in the brush so it does not wind around fifty times. The bucket is easy to clean. It is also easy to transport up stairs and stair attachment is so compact that it does a good job.

Dyson's technology is not really the Dyson Sphere of sci-fi stories, an artificial sphere of millions of miles in diameter, is built around a sun to catch every kilowatt-hour of his energy to power an advanced civilization. It is named after James Dyson, the Briton who invented it. He went into a sawmill and discovered that the walls were covered with sawdust, because it had a huge fan assembly that created a cyclonic effect, spinning dust in a collector. He thought at once to build a cyclone vacuum cleaner with the same technology as the accumulation of dust on the pages of a brand new bag Vegetable saps half the power of a conventional vacuum cleaner in a few minutes after turning it on for the first time.

Potential drawbacks: It has no height adjustment, so it can not be the best for thick carpets. It has a small footprint so if you have a large area you may require more passes. The power cord is quite short, but then the electric wires are very heavy and it would only add weight. It has a bucket instead of a bag so you have to wash it out when you empty it. It does not happen often in my little room, but again, is the small bucket is not designed for a large house.

The larger version of this has all the features you want in a big house, but it weighs more and does not fit into tight spaces. And when I bought mine, was the biggest one is actually cheaper.

Other companies have ripped off the idea because it's almost too easy to patent effectively. I have no idea how their products compare. I love my Dyson because it's purple!

This is fantastic!

I have wanted a Dyson since they first came out, but when I went to a store to look at them, it was so heavy I could use one for each level of my house and not enough closet space to store them.

This is less than 12 pounds, fits easily in a closet and is so easy, it's very easy to carry upstairs. I'll admit that I am not a fan of cleaning, but being a female engineer, I really appreciate well designed products. This has many cool features. Cleaning your head low profile so it can easily squeeze the floorboards under the kitchen cabinets (big plus!). The ball design is incredibly inventive and easy to use. It's like the difference hauling a suitcase around, which has Weel that goes in one direction relative to the new Pivot with wheels - makes so much sense, and not hurt my back using it.

Cleaning power is great! It is not specifically labeled for hair removal, but it does a good job. I have cleaned one time with my old vacuum, then filled this Dyson up with a second pass. I was surprised how much my old man did not pick up!

Installation is easy - just three snaps in place, steps and no tools. If you get stuck on attaching the rod (which does not seem to fit when you put it in the image), flip it around to the other side and it clicks right in.

Most vacuum cleaners are tools that are uncomfortable or just does not work. It is so easy to pull off (with a long handle to reach the ceiling cobwebs) that I did not hesitate to use it many times in the middle of vacuuming a room. The attachments have a very good suction. The long handle makes everything from floor to ceiling, window sills, easy to reach without effort.

The only thing I want to improve is a better connection with the stair cleaning. The attachment is not quite wide enough to make cleaning stairs as fast as I want. I think there's an attachment is sold separately, that looks more that could be better. And if you try to do stairs without the attachment (and bear full vacuum up every staircase), it is difficult, because the back set of balls move and turn the rotating brush and you can not maneuver the entire first floor. But no vacuum can do it properly, right?

All in all, I think it is a tad bit expensive, but I think I'll never buy another void in my life. And how good for the environment, do not need to buy and throw away the bags! If I divide the cost by the number of years, I will use it, and they fell allergens in my house, it's worth every penny!

I'm not the kind of person to get excited about a vacuum cleaner, so I hope you enjoy my review:) I really like about this machine!

Dyson DC24 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I bought the DC-24 to replace a small vacuum and was my first Dyson purchase (although I have used them regularly in the past). I would not recommend this vacuum to replace a dedicated large upright. Dyson uses "air watts" to indicate the strength of vacuum cleaners and DC-24 has 115 air watts vs. 220 watts for air DC-25 and DC-15. Not knowing how many watts the second air cleaner is used, I can only guess similar comparisons with other brands.

What to Like

DC-24 vacuum is easy to 05.11 pounds (16.1 pounds DC25 and DC15 £ 19.95) and can go up and down stairs without difficulty (3 story apartment). Actually, I instead of using the hose attachment for stairs prefer to use the vacuum itself. It has a nicely placed handle in front of this function (as a weed trimmer). You must stand out from the body, because the brushes do not spin if the device is positioned upright.

Although lightweight, lower power, it has consistently been a week and still get a lot of dirt and dog hair from carpet.

The "Ball" to vacuum in order to access small, hard to reach areas without using the attachment. It is similar to using a rotating head on a mop. It handles my wood floor well, and have now replaced my sweeper.

No-mess tins easy to dump out with just a touch.

The washable HEPA filter. This is one reason I do not have a problem with paying more for a Dyson. Effective Hepp filtration requires regular replacement, which provides up to extra dollars. Dyson solves this with an easy clean filters.

5 year warranty. You will probably see a disturbing feeling when it's out of the box and it seems flimsy. I usually destroy the vacuum, vacuum, and so far have held up well. I think skinny-esteem comes from the flexibility, alignment and ball points. Believe me, I've dropped it a few times down a staircase on the hardwood and it still looks and acts like good news.

Compact storage ... That goes hand in hand with low weight, but also telescopes in height to fit under the shelves for storage.

Coolest Dyson feature for me is that no tool brushbar access / removal. Makes it very easy to remove obstacles from brushbar without a toolbox.

What not to like

The attachment is difficult to convert, this is not unique to this Dyson model. Some cleaver engineer came up with a way to do this Annex is compact and clear, but impossible to convert the first 10-15 times you use it. Dyson need expensive models that are easier to use attachments. After using their products for a while, I have become a Dyson attachment Jedi Master.

The hose attachment is short. It can not reach my 10 'ceiling without lifting the bottom up from the floor. I recommend Dyson flexible connection to dust and / or cobwebs.
=================
Other notes
=================
The vacuum has problems with large objects (clumps of dog toys filling) that large voids do not normally hiccups on. It either does not have the height of the brush head or the plumbing for large objects. It is not really a negative for me because I learned early to pick up large items that can ruin a perfectly functioning normally aspirated engine. I did not have the same problem with just using the attachment.

Dyson DC24 Animal Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson DC24 Animal is the latest addition to the Dyson series compact HEPA vacuum cleaners. Although light and compact, retaining this versatile upright vacuum all the features that have made Dyson so popular. The ball adds maneuverability, while the washable lifetime HEPA filter and clear dust container means that you do not have to spend money on new filters or bags. Dyson Root Cyclone technology means that this vacuum will never lose suction power and a 5 year warranty gives peace of mind should anything ever go wrong. As a Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner, the DC24 as standard with a mini-turbine head attachment that is ideal for removing pet hair from carpets and upholstery step. Powerful, but weighs less than 12 kg., The DC24 Animal is a smaller model that is ideal for those with limited space or for current Dyson owners who need an extra Dyson to another part of their home. Dyson DC23 Animal

First you must understand that there are several models for the DC23 series. From October 2010, is the Turbo Head, animal and Motorhead. The container for all three models are technically the same (minus the color). The differences between the three models, accessories (such as height, tool handles, etc.) that came with, and how each machine can be stored away.

For a quick review of the differences, it is best to refer to Dyson's online store, and read "as well as accessories ..." in the specifications tab.

This review is specific to DC 23 animals (of course), but most part of the review for all three models.

PRO:
- Powerful suction through the curtain
- Pick up pet hair (cat) like magic
- More intelligent design, which simplifies vacuuming jobs
- Comes with useful tools that can handle most home situations well
- Most parts can be easily cleaned with cold water
- No non-durable parts
- Long power cord
- Not so noisy
- Beautiful
- Very good customer representative DYSON

CON:
- Take an unexpectedly large amount of horizontal space to store away in spite of the small container (as it is in the product image is the way it should have been given away)
- There is a dust magnet and can be difficult to clean up because of many small parts and holes
- May have needed a little longer than average time to fully exploit the machine's
- Very little trash-holding capacity
- Short length of pipe
- Very expensive for a vacuum cleaner

The last line (my personal opinion):
- The work (vacuuming) really good. But it makes me think that the cheapest model of the DC23 series (Turbo Head) can suffice my daily needs, since there is no significant difference between the two on paper.
- I'm a techie, but it took me longer than expected to figure out what all the buttons and tools. I think they have "over-engineering" is in some area.
- It takes a lot of space to store it in my little apartment. The Motorhead of the DC23 series that uses less storage space (because of the longer hose) but it is $ 100 on top of the already expensive $ 500 price tag. Fortunately, I can improvise and make up less space, but to remove some parts - but it also increases the 'setup' time it takes for each use.
- It's a cradle.

Dyson DC28 Animal

I do not know exactly where to start. I have owned a Sears, a Hoover and Electrolux (unfortunately, Electrolux is not what used to be). I researched and read reviews at least 100 vacuum YouTube impartial reviews, and talked to sales associates. After several months I reduced it down to the Dyson DC28 and Miele Titan. I will not waste your time talking about why I chose the DC28 Miele Titan, but if you want me to draw, leave me a comment and I will promptly respond.

For DC28 goes, it really does not have an incredible week! We have a long-haired Australian Shepherd who sheds hair sometimes a foot long, and we regularly have guests, and I confess I am a clean freak, and I vacuum once a day. But with all the daily vacuuming, I was not so much me sick. I vacuumed my whole house before I vacuumed with my DC28, and I filled the can past maximum capacity, so halfway full again the next day. It's amazing all the dirt and dander and small particles, this vacuum kicked up it was like a fine powder (see my photos above for proof). I have also cleaned the level of my girlfriend's house who has a samoyed and we filled the jar 5 times at once and emptied maybe 2 pounds of hair, dirt, dander and small particles (she uses an Oreck XL Pro Plus, I think.) Despite other reviews, this vacuum is not difficult to maneuver, the incredible airmuscle technology sucks that this machine makes it * different * to maneuver in the beginning but I got used to it after half an hour. The machine is stiff at first, but if you buy something new, it is very common (mine loosened up after a few days).

The four height options are bare floor (lower / no beater brush), low pile, medium pile and high pile. I have a medium carpet and use it on the low pile setting to really get beater brush into the carpet! My carpet looks healthy shampooing every day. You can feel the suction in the hand using a shopvac in the garage, you know you have it all! This machine also has a large 35 foot cord power that is soft and easy to pack up the back of the vacuum, with a strong clip to secure the cord. For floor cleaning of any kind, it is excellent. When the tool goes, it comes with four, which I will pass. MINI TURBINE AIRCRAFT HEAD (retail 70 bucks separately) works well for cleaning the mattresses, beanbags cloth (lovesac / cordaroys), fabric, furniture, small hard to reach areas between furniture and stair cleaning (attaches to pop out the handle connected to the 17 foot vac hose is ideal for cleaning of the stairs without moving the machine). Secondly, the flat-out tool (sold separately 50 bucks), and it is great for vacuuming under tables, chair legs and furniture when they switched to pop out wand. It also comes with a nozzle, which is a combo hard Brush tool, and a soft, wide-angle tools with soft fuzz on the bottom to thoroughly clean delicate surfaces or furniture. HEPA filters are easy to wash, just rinse it out every 3 months, let it dry a day when pop it again and keep clean!

I hope that this review is helpful to anyone, and do not forget to look at the product pictures I posted above. I know that the review is long, but I wish I would have had a detailed review like this to guide me while contemplating to spend $ 600 on a vacuum cleaner, but it's really worth it. I use it every day, and I welcome questions / comments anyone has about my experience with this vacuum, or vacuum itself. Thanks for reading!

Dyson DC25 Animal Ball-Technology Upright Vacuum Cleaner

A vacuum cleaner is one of the topics that you "get what you pay for."

I've owned two cheap-o (less than $ 100) cleaners in the past two years. One was the sacks and the other was bagless. Both were crap! I wanted to participate in a vacuum and unclog it just to have moderate suction. In the end I was left with was a carpet so clean at first glance ... only because of the vacuum trail markers. But when I want to carefully inspect the carpet, it was disgusting. Still covered by the dog hair and dust! I could not vacuum our dog's hair to save my life, and it started to stress me out. I gave in and started to research online for a new quality vacuum. After hours of online research came down to two choices, and they were both Dyson. I had seen advertised, knew people who own them and was always skeptical about paying so much money for a vacuum cleaner, but I could not ignore comments from both the average Joes and online reports Consumer.

It was either DC17 Animal or DC25 Animal.

In the end I went with the DC25 Animal, because it's smaller profile and ease of use. I can vacuum everywhere in the apartment without having to move a lot of things around. The ball was simply icing on the cake. I was prepared to give up small collection bin for a low profile and "ball". I was so right! Had I bought the DC17, I would have had some problems to get under and around things in my apartment.

If you live in an apartment if you own a dog / cat, if you hate dust, if you already own a POS vacuum and read these reviews, trying to figure out if you get to the cave, and buy a Dyson. .. . Do it now! Dyson DC25 Animal! You'll be glad you did and you will never remember to clean your house ever again! It does everything!

Advantages:
Cleaner rug as a vacuum to be!
-I have four words for you dog lovers ... "No more hair!"
Low profile, so you can vacuum under and around without any other accessories.
-The attachment you can clean everything from ceiling fans to sofas!
-Ball, ball, make it fun to vacuum!
Dyson-name ... You know it's going to suck the best!

Cons:
-Less dust bin than other models. You have to empty it 3-4 times when you vacuum one, really dirty, 3 bedrooms.

***** Five stars *****
Even with the small dustbin, Dyson DC25 Animal live up to the hype. Believe me, just go buy the damn thing and be worrying about hair FOREVER!
