Dyson DC25 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner
This is fantastic!
I have wanted a Dyson since they first came out, but when I went to a store to look at them, it was so heavy I could use one for each level of my house and not enough closet space to store them.
This is less than 12 pounds, fits easily in a closet and is so easy, it's very easy to carry upstairs. I'll admit that I am not a fan of cleaning, but being a female engineer, I really appreciate well designed products. This has many cool features. Cleaning your head low profile so it can easily squeeze the floorboards under the kitchen cabinets (big plus!). The ball design is incredibly inventive and easy to use. It's like the difference hauling a suitcase around, which has Weel that goes in one direction relative to the new Pivot with wheels - makes so much sense, and not hurt my back using it.
Cleaning power is great! It is not specifically labeled for hair removal, but it does a good job. I have cleaned one time with my old vacuum, then filled this Dyson up with a second pass. I was surprised how much my old man did not pick up!
Installation is easy - just three snaps in place, steps and no tools. If you get stuck on attaching the rod (which does not seem to fit when you put it in the image), flip it around to the other side and it clicks right in.
Most vacuum cleaners are tools that are uncomfortable or just does not work. It is so easy to pull off (with a long handle to reach the ceiling cobwebs) that I did not hesitate to use it many times in the middle of vacuuming a room. The attachments have a very good suction. The long handle makes everything from floor to ceiling, window sills, easy to reach without effort.
The only thing I want to improve is a better connection with the stair cleaning. The attachment is not quite wide enough to make cleaning stairs as fast as I want. I think there's an attachment is sold separately, that looks more that could be better. And if you try to do stairs without the attachment (and bear full vacuum up every staircase), it is difficult, because the back set of balls move and turn the rotating brush and you can not maneuver the entire first floor. But no vacuum can do it properly, right?
All in all, I think it is a tad bit expensive, but I think I'll never buy another void in my life. And how good for the environment, do not need to buy and throw away the bags! If I divide the cost by the number of years, I will use it, and they fell allergens in my house, it's worth every penny!
I'm not the kind of person to get excited about a vacuum cleaner, so I hope you enjoy my review:) I really like about this machine!
